The Yeezy 700 v1 has always been one of my favorite pair of sneakers. The “Waverunners” to be exact. Like the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” these are colorways I will recop every chance I get. When the Yeezy 700 V2’s initially dropped I remember thinking that the V1’s wouldn’t be rereleased. I had just copped the “Inertias” and if I’m not mistaken the “Inertia” V2’s released a few months later. In 2021 the V1’s have seen plenty releases so I was definitely wrong to think they would be shelfed.
Well now Yeezy is following up with a 700 v1 with a colorscheme very similar to the well sought-after “Wave runners”. The Yeezy 700 v1 “Washed Orange” appears dressed in mesh, and buttery leathers and suedes feature throughout the construction of the sneaker. A Slate Grey, though slightly darker than the shade used along the “Wave Runner,” dresses the toe, collar, heel, and tongue. The only difference is the washed orange soles. You can expect these to drop on October 30th, 2021.
