OG TRIPLE OG Alert. These ain’t the Royalites. I mean they were close enough to the “Taxi” 12’s for me but these are the real deal. As Jordan Brands first OG drop of the new year this was a good choice. 1997. 2004. 2012. 2022. It’s been 10 years since we’ve seen these

Sneaker sleuth @zSneakerheadz has unveiled the release, which is expected to be but one of a handful of Jordan 12 options over the course of the year celebrating the milestone, but this is the first confirmation of an original colorway for 2022. Associated with the Chicago Bulls’ Championship-winning 1996-97 NBA season — which means they have, and will always be immensely popular — the pair (along with the OG Taxi and Cherry) has been near the top of retroheads’ wish list for years. Its versatile black and white leather build is met by unintrusive silver streaks, with Bulls flavor peppered in at the Jumpman and heel branding. For Spring 2022’s Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” retro, you can expect much of the same — perhaps with something special included for its anniversary celebration. And it may well so, given the fact that the pair was worn by Mike during the 1997 All-Star Game in which he dropped — at the time — the first-ever ASG triple-double.
