Megan Thee Stallion has revealed her experiences following the shooting by Tory Lanez in 2020 and the negative response she faced on social media, confessing that she experienced a breakdown behind the scenes.

On Wednesday (October 16), she released the trailer for her upcoming documentary, titled *In Her Words*, which, as outlined in its synopsis, “offers an intimate look at the global superstar’s recovery from the shooting incident and the challenges that come with fame, among other topics.”

“I think I really forgot who I was, and when life started really getting crazy, I didn’t have [my mother]. That’s when I started getting the backlash. The shooting. The betrayal. I was definitely getting a little too engulfed in social media…I had really had, like, a real breakdown.”

She continued: “I want people to understand how this affected me. I want people to see how I feel. I been through so much I can’t give up.”
