Wataru Kato, founder of Liberty Walk, recently announced a collaboration with BAPE on a new capsule collection featuring apparel, collectibles, and BAPE camo-wrapped show vehicles. The collection includes BAPE’s iconic Shark Hoodie in black and grey, alongside two graphic tees available in black or white, and coach jackets in black or camo. Notable items also include a co-branded shark cap and sneakers.
In addition to apparel and accessories, the collaboration includes co-branded 1:64 scale diecast cars created in partnership with MINI GT, featuring various Nissan models with custom Liberty Walk designs and BAPE camo finishes. The collection also offers stickers and keychains as collectibles. Full-scale versions of the diecast models were showcased at this year’s Wired Music Festival in Japan, where 100 units were available for purchase. While initially sold only at the festival, a wider release of the capsule collection is anticipated for the 2025 Tokyo Autosalon, with prices ranging from ¥1,100 JPY to ¥45,100 JPY (approximately $7 USD to $300 USD).
