With the death of PNB Rock on the West Coast and the latest wave of celebrity robberies in LA it feels good to report something new and exciting that the Hip Hop culture can rock with. Nike SB is adding a LA Dodgers themed Dunk Low, joining the just-revealed San Francisco “Giants” Dunk High in opposition of the East Coast’s previously-previewed Mets and Phillies releases.

Delivered in white and royal with branding pops of red, the pair does its best reenactment of the famous Dodger duds. It’s heightened by letter/number-styled overclocked stitchwork at the Swoosh, which, like the overlays, arrive in a rich suede textile. Crisp whites cover the tongues and liners, with the former decorated by palm tree and “Welcome to Dodger Stadium” graphics on the inner. All of this rests atop a classic white and gum sole unit — and it’s even stepped in a piece of discarded Big League Chew on the right heel
