Some people wake up bright and early, yawn, brew some coffee and get dressed for a long day of hating. There are people whose job description should say hater. There are those who hate up close and personal and those who hate from a far. Well imagine your hateful ways get you exactly what you were looking for, attention. Attention from one of the biggest celebs in the world.

Last week a random instagram account decided to troll Drake on Instagram. It started on a post about Ja Morant’s father Tee Morant reaching a level of Lavar Ball annoyance. Drake seemed confused about why black fathers celebrating their son’s achievments was an issue.

“Imagine your son makes the league and he’s Ja Or Melo or Lonzo all you can do is be elated and competitive and over supportive,” he commented on the Instagram post. “And it’s a right of passage to that the OG’s talk shit I know I’mma be this way even if my son is in a rubix cube competition.”

The heckler responded to Drake’s comment by writing, “ya son prolly play with ghost writers.” The Toronto megastar saw the comment and ethered the heckler by writing back, “I just followed your girl cause she’s prob miserable and needs some excitement in her life.”

Since then the man has gone to extreme lengths to save face. Spade TV reported the couple making 10k for interviews the first day. In a classic episode of “You, Me and She,” TMZ Hip Hop sat down with a man named Cedric Bowden and his wife Toni.

“For one, everyone knows or thinks Drake has ghostwriters,” Cedric Bowden told the outlet on why he chose the taunt. “I’m a fan of Meek Mill so when Meek said it, I truly believed it but honestly, I didn’t think that comment would go anywhere. Once it did, I was like, ‘Oh crap, what did I do?’ So here we are now.”

When asked whether he went too far bringing up Adonis, Cedric shot back with an objection of his own.

“I think it was too far for him to bring in my wife!” he laughed.

Drake’s DM to Toni Bowden not only shot up her Instagram followers into the thousands, but it also sent social media into letting Cedric have it, hoping he would let the issue go and focus on his wife. According to Toni, however, there are no issues between her and her husband. Cedric did manage to show his love for Drizzy’s Certified Lover Boy album and Toni proclaimed the three of them should meet. It’s unclear if such a meet-up would occur over Instagram trash talk, but good for the Bowden’s taking a random online encounter in stride.
