Following the release of Jordans most iconic grey colorway the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey”, Jordan Brand is gearing up to release another grey based color scheme but on the Air Jordan 9 this time. Jordans 9th silhoutte continues to play an integral role in the yearly Jordan Brand line-up. Not as anticipated as the upcoming “Chile Red” release the Air jordan 9 “Particle Grey” is set to release this March.

Mock-ups provided by Sneakerfiles and zSneakerheadz give a clear depiction of what to expect. Here, a jet black nubuck upper arrives encased by the titular grey hue that gears the leather guard-to-heel overlay and midsole paint. There are also grey tints applied to the pair’s profile detail, almost resembling a fine ribbon in appearance. More black hits come into play at the tongues, liners, pulls, P.E. #23 motifs at the heel, and lateral Jumpmen, while pops of red are worked into the tone and heel detail.
